Plektrum Festival opens international call for the project proposals of interactive works, video works, net-art and and audiovisual works to be presented from 25. August 2010 to 05. September 2010 at Plektrum Festival, Tallinn, Estonia. The deadline for the project proposals is 15th of March 2010.

“Would you love a robot?” is the general topic for the year 2010. The festival does not focus solely on robots and robotics, but tries to view and analyze on what principles artificial intelligence is based on and how, and to which degree the society is ready to live side by side with a new emerging intelligence. Hence, the art program of the festival would like to provide and encourage new aesthetic explorations by asking the question – would you really love a robot? Is it a sci-fi utopia or pressing reality?
